Selena Gomez ‘Shocked’ By Justin Bieber Engagement News & Wonders If He Ever Really Loved Her

Justin Bieber and Hailey Baldwin Engagement

Selena Gomez is ‘stunned’ by Justin Bieber’s engagement to Hailey Baldwin! A source close to Selena told HL EXCLUSIVELY how she took the bombshell news!

Justin Bieber is reportedly engaged to Hailey Baldwin and there is one person’s reaction to this news we all want to know right now: his on again, off again ex Selena Gomez. A source close to Selena told EXCLUSIVELY how she handled hearing about her ex’s surprise proposal. “Selena was totally shocked and stunned to hear it’s being reported that Justin proposed to Hailey,” our source said. “She honestly can’t believe it. Selena didn’t think they were even that serious, so the thought of them getting married is just mind-boggling to her.”

Deep down, Selena believes that Justin’s engagement is potentially sending her a message. “Selena can’t help feeling that Justin has some ulterior motive going on, like, he’s trying to make her jealous, or he’s proving a point to her that he really is grown up and ready for commitment,” our source added. “She just can’t get her mind around it otherwise.”

On top of that, the news of Justin’s engagement comes only months after their relationship came to an end — a relationship where Justin told her he loved her. “If it is a serious proposal, and Justin is being totally genuine in wanting to marry Hailey, then Selena can’t help questioning what he really felt about her, and if her really did love her, because it was only a few months ago that he was declaring his undying love for her, and swearing he couldn’t live without her,” our source added.

Meanwhile, another source close to Justin said, “We could easily be talking about Justin and Selena being engaged right now, but the strain that her Mom brought to that rekindled relationship basically was the last straw for them to be a forever couple. They tried and their was push-back from her family to him and he didn’t want to deal with that the rest of his life. So that is why he found love elsewhere.” We’ll keep you posted as we learn more about this huge news.

MIAMI: Singer Chris Brown was arrested for battery following a concert in Florida, authorities said Friday, the troubled star’s latest brush with the law.

Police seized the R&B star shortly after he left the stage Thursday night in West Palm Beach. He was booked on a charge of felony battery and released after he paid a $2,000 bond, the sheriff’s office said.

The Palm Beach County sheriff’s office said that Brown was arrested on a warrant from Tampa but did not give specifics.

The celebrity news site TMZ said the warrant was related to an incident last year when Brown punched an in-house photographer during a paid appearance at a nightclub.

The singer was due to return to Tampa on Friday for a concert as part of an ongoing tour.

Brown, 29, has a long history of violence. In May, a Los Angeles woman said she was lured to the singer’s house and repeatedly raped by him and a rapper.

Prominent lawyer Gloria Allred called it “one of the most horrific cases involving alleged sexual assault that I have ever seen.”

Most notoriously, Brown in 2009 was convicted of beating fellow singer Rihanna, who was then his girlfriend and was forced to miss the Grammy Awards due to her injuries.

In 2016, he was arrested and charged with assault with a deadly weapon following a standoff with Los Angeles police, after a woman said he threatened her at his home.

He also pleaded guilty to assaulting a fan in Washington in 2014 and was accused of violence by a woman in Las Vegas.

Brown was discovered by record label scouts when he was a boy working at his father’s gas station in Virginia. First identified as a rapper, he quickly found success with his rich singing voice but he has been in the news more often in recent years for his legal troubles.

‘Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom’ Review: Epic Sequel Expands The Dino Universe In A Huge Way

‘Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom’ Review: Epic Sequel Expands The Dino Universe In A Huge Way

‘Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom’ raises the stakes from its 2015 predecessor and gives fans more dinosaurs, delightful new characters, and a twist that changes everything.

The park is truly gone. After the events of 2015’s Jurassic World, the park run by Claire (Bryce Dallas Howard) was completely destroyed. The dinosaurs were free once again, but not for long. What brings Claire and Owen (Chris Pratt) back to Isla Nublar in the highly-anticipated sequel, in theaters everywhere on June 22, is the fact that the dinosaurs are in danger. The island is imploding, literally. For their journey back, Claire and Owen bring along two newbies: Franklin Webb (Justice Smith), an IT technician; and  Dr. Zia Rodriguez (Daniella Pineda), a paleo-veterinarian.

Upon their return to Jurassic World, the action starts almost immediately. The opening moments of the film feature an incredible and jaw-dropping scene from the island. If you’re looking for those trusty dinosaurs to do some crazy things, then you’re in luck. Owen and Claire are on a quest to find Blue, the highly intelligent Velociraptor that Owen raised. Their lives are put into danger right off the bat, resulting in some truly amazing special effects. For the first time, a film in the franchise ventures off Isla Nublar and takes a more sinister turn.

At first, the introduction of Maisie Lockwood (Isabella Sermon), the granddaughter of Sir Benjamin Lockwood, John Hammond’s former partner, seems like a character whose sole purpose is to reach a young audience, but she turns out to be a very captivating part of the film. There’s a major twist involving the Lockwoods that’s a total game-changer and already has me psyched and ready to see where the next film goes. The possibilities are endless.

Chris and Bryce remain great as the two leads of this Jurassic World trilogy. Chris is as snarky and lovable as ever as the risk-taking dino expert, while Bryce continues to keep everyone in check like the fierce leader she is. Justice and Daniella both hold their own against the two main leads and really stake their claim in the film. Jeff Goldblum, as expected, is a scene-stealer, but the film could have used more of him.

By the end of the movie, Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom has set itself up very nicely for the next installment. This sequel provides more action and thrilling dinosaur scenes that will leave you on the edge of your seat. The movie is the perfect summer flick to catch with the entire family. Long live the dinos!

“Incredibles 2,” the long-awaited return of a quirky animated superhero family from Disney-Pixar, reigned supreme at the North American box office, raking in a record $180 million in its debut, industry estimates showed Sunday.

It was the highest ever opening for an animated film in the US and Canada, easily besting the $135 million debut of its Disney-Pixar stablemate, “Finding Dory” (2016).

The film tells the story of the Parr family — matriarch Helen (Holly Hunter) is called upon to help bring the world’s hiding superheroes back into the open, as husband Bob (Craig T. Nelson) navigates the day-to-day work of being a homemaker.

Their children Violet (Sarah Vowell) and Dash (Huck Milner) are back again, along with baby Jack-Jack, whose devastating super powers are about to be unleashed.

In second place was female heist flick “Ocean’s 8,” which followed up on a big opening by earning $19.6 million in its second week, according to Exhibitor Relations.

With an all-star cast led by Sandra Bullock and supported by Cate Blanchett, Anne Hathaway, Helena Bonham Carter, Mindy Kaling and Rihanna, the Warner Bros. sequel was Hollywood’s latest experiment — after “Ghostbusters” — in replacing an all-male cast with female stars.

The film stars Bullock as Debbie Ocean, sister of Danny Ocean (originally played by George Clooney), as she assembles a gang of talented women to plan a seemingly impossible diamond heist from the Met Gala in New York.

Adult comedy “Tag” opened in third place at $14.6 million. It tells the story of childhood pals (led by Jon Hamm and Jeremy Renner) who keep up a game of cross-country tag for decades, sometimes playing at the oddest of moments.

Fourth place went to “Solo: A Star Wars Story,” starring Alden Ehrenreich as a young version of the swashbuckling space pilot first played by Harrison Ford. The Disney film took in $9.1 million, and nearly $200 million overall in North America.

Fifth place went to R-rated superhero flick “Deadpool 2” at $8.8 million.

Rounding out the top 10 were:

“Hereditary” ($7.0 million)

“Superfly” ($6.3 million)

“Avengers: Infinity War” ($5.3 million)

“Adrift” ($2.1 million)

“Book Club” ($1.85 million)
